Based in Ankara-Türkiye, re-carbon Ltd. is the first and only Turkish company to be accredited as a “Designated Operational Entity” (DOE), respectively “Validation and Verification Body” (VVB) for the validation & verification of GHG emission reduction projects. With our internal and external experts, we have significant expertise in renewable, non-renewable and energy efficiency sectors, as well as waste management and agriculture.

In between 2016 and 2020 we have also been operating as an ISO 14065 accredited Verification Entity in the verification process of greenhouse gas emission reports as per the relevant environmental regulation issued by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanism in Türkiye.

As of March 2024, we are the first and only Turkish Validation / Verification Body (VVB), accredited by ANAB.

International Experience

Our validation/verification team members have worked on numerous projects.

This experience includes Green House Gas (GHG) reduction programs such as the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM), Gold Standard, Verified Carbon Standard (VCS), Global Carbon Council (GCC), International Carbon Registry (ICR) and BioCarbon Registry (BCR) and covers project types such as wind, hydro, solar, geothermal, thermal power, biogas, biomass, energy efficiency, energy from waste projects and GHG emission reduction projects in agriculture activities.
